Dining In Barcelona
So where should I begin ? recently I went to Spain for a week where the first half of the week I spend in San Sebastian and the other half in Barcelona. I have a lot to tell you guys about my experience in San Sebastian, but for this post, I really wanna talk about my dining experience in this fantastic restaurant called "Pepito". I wish they had a branch here in London because
I love their food. It was by chance I stumbled upon them while I was exploring the busy street of Barcelona.
I went there without any expectation and left as a well-satisfied customer. My first impression was "wow, I like their interior" fancy and cosy, a perfect place for a romantic dinner date.
As Asian as it may sound, I love to fill my table with food, so I order my starters and mains together. For starters, I had "fregits De Mar" which is a mixture of deep fried squid, lobster leg and fish ( no idea what it's called but tasted good) and caesar salad, beef fillet with truffle and vegetables as my mains and mandarine ice cream with mix fruits as dessert.
Each dish was on point, but my most favourite dish was the beef fillet. The meat was very tender, and the mashed potatoes that it came with was amazing, one of the best I have had till now. The caesar salad was also great, and I have to say the presentation was fantastic. When it comes food, I have no space for complaints. The staffs were also really friendly, very attentive and patients. The only complaints I have are the bit cold AC that kept blowing cold air to my back and dark restroom ( definitely need some bright lights ). Overall this place is a little gem in the corner of busy street of the Barcelona.
